My name is Melanie Rasmussen and I am so excited to be teaching this year! I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and am the youngest of 3 older brothers. I went to school at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO, and majored in Elementary Education with endorsements in early childhood and special reading. I also played collegiate softball at Missouri Western State through my time there. My boyfriend got a job in Utah and we moved here in February 2022! I love exploring outside, going on hikes, rock climbing, playing board games, reading, and hanging out with family and friends. I am so eager for this upcoming school year, can’t wait for it to get started.
