I am looking forward to my third year teaching 2nd grade at Ascent! I feel very fortunate to be able to team teach with Mrs. Stott. I work in the afternoon teaching language arts and social studies - two of my favorite subjects! I also love to incorporate art into our lessons whenever time allows. I believe it is important to create a classroom environment where students are engaged learners, feel happy and accepted, and enjoy learning!

I was born in Idaho and raised in Utah. I am a graduate of Utah State University. My husband and I have four active children who keep us busy with their various sports and activities. We love to travel together as a family. I also love reading, gardening, refinishing furniture, and being creative - especially art!
