A little bit about me—I grew up in Southern California as the middle of 10 siblings and then graduated in Elementary Education at BYU-Idaho. Since graduating, I’ve lived in Colorado, DC, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. I was able to learn a little Dutch and experience many different cultures. I moved back to the states 4 years ago and started teaching 1st and 3rd grade. I was married this summer so now I’ll be getting used to being called “Mrs. Cardon.”  My husband and I have five kids between us ranging from 13 to 3 years old. I love paddle boarding, naps, and basically anything in the sun. Shopping at Costco and coke runs to Maverik are some of my favorite pastimes. My favorite cheesy movie quote: “Have courage and be kind.”

I am excited to meet everyone at Ascent and begin a new adventure teaching 6th grade!
